Women’s Retreat at Damascus

 

All women ages 18–99 from St. Julie’s and St. Peter’s are invited to step away together for a time of rest, prayer, fellowship, and spiritual renewal at the Damascus Women’s Retreat in Centerville, Ohio.

 

This retreat offers an opportunity to grow in faith, deepen community, and be renewed in the truth of your identity as a beloved daughter of God.

 

Dates: April 24–26, 2026

Check-in: Friday, April 24, 5:00–6:00 p.m.

Check-out: Sunday, April 26, by 12:00 noon(Sunday Mass or Vigil Mass is included.)

 

Cost: $230 (includes lodging and meals)

 

Space is limited and fills quickly so get yourself registered soon.

 

Transportation: Carpooling will be available

 

Registration: damascus.net/womens-retreats   Answer “no” to having a pre-registered group. But when registering, please indicate that you would like to be with the St Peter/St Julie group.

"Welcome" - is the New Name for Christ Renews His Parish

Women's Breakfast         
Second Saturday of the Month, 8:30-10:00 a.m.

​

In order for the Women’s Fellowship Breakfasts to serve the women of St. Julie and St. Peter parishes, the committee needs a few women to join the kitchen group. If you would like to join our kitchen group, please contact the St Julie Office: 440-327-1978

Women share a unique relationship and position in the Church through Spiritual Development. Women draw upon the support of one another, learn from each other, and encourage each other to be better Christians. 


The Women’s Breakfast calls to communion the women of St. Julie's and St. Peter's to share in fellowship and encourage spiritual growth. With a special devotion to the Blessed Mother we reflect, pray, worship, and share our faith experiences in support of one another.

Breakfasts are held on the second Saturday of the month, September through May, beginning at 8:30 a.m. and concluding by 10:00 a.m. They alternate between St. Julie and St. Peter parishes. They are normally held in the back of the church at St. Julie’s and in the gym at St. Peter’s

A typical breakfast begins with an opening prayer, grace, and then breakfast. After breakfast we have a witness when available, then our main presentation. We follow-up the presentation with discussion, any announcements, and a closing prayer. 

Presentations have been in many forms. We have had our parish priests, nuns, and committee members as presenters. We have also used videos for presentations. 

 

There is no cost to attend the breakfast, but free-will offerings are accepted if one is able, as the breakfast is solely supported through the offerings.

We request that you RSVP to ensure that we have enough food and seating. However, should your schedule change at the last minute and allow you to attend, we will be happy to have you join us without a reservation. The breakfasts are announced in the church bulletin along with the information to RSVP.

As always, we welcome anyone who would like to become a committee member and/or be a witness. We have a core team of St. Julie and St. Peter parishioners that meets yearly to plan breakfasts for the upcoming season. This team puts on the breakfast each month.
