Couples preparing for marriage are to make arrangements with the pastor at least six months in advance of the wedding date. Preparations include the Pre-Cana classes and the Prepare-Enrich

Pre-Cana Classes
Pre-Cana Classes in Lorain County are held on Sundays, seven times a year, at St. Patrick Parish in Wellington. St. Julie Billiart has a team under the direction of Greg and Stacey Lamoda who give a Sunday session every April. A team of four couples, plus Father Gonser, present talks to engaged couples about Christian married life. Key aspects of marriage are discussed such as communication,faith, the real world, and sexual relationships. Engaged couples are asked to reflect on these talks through a process called dialog.
